Epsilon Eta is the 316th house of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. It was charted on Friday June 5th, 1959 at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. Eight men took it upon themselves to bring about a new chapter of the prestigious organization known as Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. The Honorable Charter Members are Brother Oval Cotton, Brother Charles R. Johnson, Brother Thaddeuss Jones, Brother William D. Ovid, Brother James Stephens, Brother Colonel William J. Stephens, Brother Elliss Stewart and Brother Robert E. Williams. They are recognized as the Elite 8.
